An invitation-only society synonymous with the cultural and social life of St. Estè. Inspired by the god of wine, theatre and celebration, Dionysus convenes the university's most storied families, patrons and public figures.
Membership
Heirs of long-standing benefactor families, entrepreneurs, designers, performers and students whose presence shapes the university's cultural calendar.
Philanthropy
Proceeds from the house's winter programme support the restoration of the valley's historic buildings and the university's arts endowment.
Recruitment
Membership is by invitation of the standing committee. There is no open application; nominations are made privately and confirmed at the Michaelmas convocation.
