The university's premier merit-based society for women, founded on the ideals of wisdom and strategy. Athena recognises women whose accomplishments have earned distinction across the university community.
Membership
Championship athletes, student government leaders, researchers, entrepreneurs and artists.
Philanthropy
Athena leads the largest philanthropic programme on campus, having raised a record sum at last year's Charity Cup for women's education in the Rhône Valley.
Recruitment
Candidates are nominated by faculty, coaches and current members, then interviewed by the house council. Selection considers achievement, character and service.
